EATON DIRECTORS Richard A. Reichter (Chairman) Mr. Reichter founded the Eaton Group in 1979 after having been a senior executive of various U.S. corporations having significant international manufacturing and marketing operations. He was Director of EPD, Industrial Products and Special Products Division of NCR prior to its acquisition by ATT. His public company Directorships have included the Perini Company and Dasa Corporation. Mr. Reichter holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in mathematics from Otterbein College with advanced studies at Ohio State University and the University of Southern California. He has been a research mathematician at Battelle Research Institute and at the US Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards, California. He co-authored numerous texts on computer programming systems and served as a consultant to the applied science division of IBM in the aerospace industry. Bradley A. Reichter (Chief Financial Officer) Mr. Reichter has been with the Eaton Group since 1983. Mr. Reichter is a specialist in IT technologies including PC configuration, assembly, diagnostics and telecommunications as well as in banking, treasury and regulatory matters. He is a graduate of Governor Dummer Academy, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors in Mathematics, Computer Science and Business Administration from Otterbein College and holds an MBA in International Finance and Banking from The Ohio State University. Heinrich Bertschinger (President of European Operations) Mr. Bertschinger has been with the Eaton Group since 1989. He has broad technical and commercial background and has been an executive with both American and European companies which include: Contraves AG, Switzerland (sales and marketing); The Plessey Company Limited, UK (Chief Territorial Executive for Switzerland and Austria); The Eaton Group, (European, Middle East, Africa and India activities). His public Directorships include Plessey Holdings, Zug/Switzerland and the Dasa Corporation, U.S. He is fluent in German, English, French and Italian. He is a graduate of the Swiss Officer School. Graham Cole Mr. Cole has been involved in over 60 public flotations in England and Europe. He has initiated, advised, project managed and negotiated the acquisition and sale of a wide range of companies, both domestic and international. Mr. Cole is the co-founder, and former member of the executive committee of CISCO now QCA (Quoted Companies Alliance) an organization established to promote the interest and visibility of London and European quoted companies with a market capitalization of less than £1.0 Billion. He was also the chairman of the subcommittee on corporate governance and was the author of the original CISCO guidance on corporate governance, which subsequently received London Stock Exchange and institutional endorsement. Mr. Cole has written many articles, appeared on radio and television, lectured extensively (UK, USA, Continental Europe) on public offerings and exit strategies. Mr. Cole was founder, organizer and an active spokesperson (10 years) for the annual PLC Awards Dinner. Nearly 26 years ago, he became one of the youngest partners in Deloitte Haskins & Sells (subsequently Coopers & Lybrand) and later became a Senior Corporate Finance Director of a well respected London financial house with worldwide liaison activities. He has been involved in numerous Eaton client funding projects over more than a 15 year period. Dr. Robert Kellan Dr. Kellan is a graduate of Tufts University Medical School. He completed his residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is a member of the staffs of The Holy Family Hospital and Medical Center (Bon Secours Hospital), Lawrence General Hospital, University Hospital, Boston and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr. Kellan belongs to the Royal Society of Health, the International College of Surgeons, the French Ophthalmological Society and the American Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Kellan has been responsible for the development of numerous surgical procedures and products.
Crispin Miller Mr. Miller has many years of management consulting experience coupled with executive management positions in both domestic and international software corporations. His hands-on experience starting and building IT organizations adds a unique perspective to our Board of Advisors. Before entering his commercial endeavors he received his bachelor’s degree in economic geography at the University of Denver. This was followed by service in the United States Air force and graduate studies at both William and Mary College and Georgetown University. Most recently, Mr. Miller was a charter member of Rotary International in Andover, Massachusetts, and member of the board and the President of the Board of Directors of a Northeastern non-profit corporation.
Paul A. Crane Mr. Crane has been a Senior Advisor to the Eaton Group since 1981. Mr. Crane has more than 40 years of international experience as an executive and owner of U.S. corporations as well as a consultant and trade negotiator in the field of soft goods. Mr. Crane's soft goods experience is extensive and has involved all levels of management. For example, at the age of 28 he purchased a bankrupt shoe manufacturing company, restored that company to profitability and repaid all debts. Upon doing so, regional and national commercial banks including Bank of Boston and Shawmut Bank (both of which are now part of Fleet National Bank) enlisted Mr. Crane's help to rescue many of their customers. Mr. Crane's entrepreneurial management expertise in the soft good industry was recognized by industry leaders for which he became President of the New England Shoe Manufacturing Association and Senior Vice President of the Footwear Manufacturers of America. Mr. Crane realized that U.S. shoe manufacturing was on the decline while European shoe manufacturing growth had substantial potential. Both the Japanese and Czechoslovakian governments engaged him to consult for the re-fitting of their shoe industries. He since became COO of G.H. Bass and Chairman and CEO of Dunham Inc. and under his management, both companies were acquired by Cheeseboro-Pond at significant gains for their shareholders. Mr. Crane was then elected to the Board and appointed as special consultant to the CEO of Compo Industries, Inc., a diversified public corporation. This led to a long-term career as a professional director and consultant to a variety of companies. Mr. Crane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree Magna Cum Laude from Yale University and an MBA with high honors from Harvard Business School. Mr. Crane served in the Navy Air Force both in the U.S. and overseas during World War II.
