The Eaton Group is a multi-national investment-banking consulting organization which has been assisting its corporate clients achieve their capital raising objectives since 1979.

Our Mission

To provide each client with a comprehensive choice of custom tailored domestic and International capital raising strategies.  Our expertise ranges from IPO's, to development capital, to strategic alliances  as required  to meet their respective growth and financial objectives.

Capital Funding Needs

All companies, large or small, constantly require funding of various types.  There are numerous funding strategies a company might wish to pursue if they become aware of the possibilities.  There are an almost   limitless number of consultants, brokers, commercial, investment, merchant banks, insurance companies, pension funds, government sponsored programs and other institutions that can provide, or arrange to provide, funds within the context of an agreed funding strategy.  The Eaton Group's major strength has been its experience in raising funds from all of the above referenced situations.  This has been accomplished through our ongoing international contacts and experience with this multiplicity of available institutions.

The current inter-relationships between widely dispersed international markets makes it nearly impossible for a company’s traditional advisors (accountants, attorneys, consultants) to provide a company an in-depth understanding of the numerous international options that might be worthy of detailed consideration.  In addition to funding options that have been historically available such as; Venture Capital, Commercial Bank and Public Listings there now exists a multiplicity of national, state and international options that are available to even the smallest company (start ups included).  The Eaton Group is recognized  as having a thorough knowledge of the operating protocols in each of the international markets it serves.

Companies tend to automatically select a "name" firm (Investment Bank) to handle their funding needs without giving proper consideration to the fact that numerous other attractive relationships might be available to them. The Eaton Group has the ability to critically analyze the characteristics of your company and growth strategy and then formulate a custom tailed funding program without constraints as to a particular method of fund raising.  This eliminates the need for companies to expend time and effort researching the vast spectrum of financial possibilities.

Capital Funding Considerations

Issues that should always be examined include, but are not limited to:

Will the potential financial partner provide the company a variety of logical funding options with comparative pros & cons being clearly set forth ?

Determining the comparative valuations of the potential partners clients with respect to the valuation of all companies within their industry ?

How have client company share prices reflected the company’s value after the financial partners warrants and or stock options have expired ?

Recognizing that market valuations are dominated by fund managers and investing institutions how does the financial industry rate a potential financial partner’s industry research and "after market" support? This is  extremely important considering individual analysts change firms with distressing frequency.

With respect to project financing, has a critical comparison been made to considerations such as; foreign distribution of public or private debt issues, the availability of non traditional third party (world bank, commercial, sovereign) guarantees that can serve to keep costs to a minimum, etc.
